Abstract
Summary
Adequate measurement of in-fectivity of human adenovirus types 3 and 12 was found to depend upon time of incubation, and upon the type of in vitro cell culture system employed. Primary human amnion cells were found to be superior to human fibroblastic cells (derived from skin of fetuses) and to two established cell lines (HeLa and KB) for infectivity titrations of type 3 and type 12 viruses.
