Summary
A method for determination of avidin by use of radioactive biotin and a gel-filtration technique has been developed. The method is based on measurement of the radioactivity of the avidin-biotin complex which separates from free biotin when a reaction solution of avidin and excess radioactive biotin is applied to a Sephadex G-25 column.
