Abstract
Summary
As low as 100 μc Ca45 administered either at 4 or 8 days of incubation produced broken or fractured bones in chicken embryos. This same level of Sr90-Y90 was less effective than Ca45 producing these fractures when administered at 8 days of incubation. The changes produced by Ca45 injected at 14 days of incubation, Sr90-Y90 at 4 and 14 days and Pm147 injected at 4, 8 and 14 days were developmental abnormalities frequently produced with external irradiation.
