Abstract
Summary
Interferon production by infective EEE virus in chick cell cultures was potentiated by preincubation of cultures with inactivated EEE virus. Components responsible for this potentiating effect were obtained by CsCl equilibrium density gradient centri-fugation of EEE virus and were found to be distinct from the fraction representing peak infectivity.
