Abstract
Summary
Quinacrine and chloroquine were tested in mice for their ability to modify maximal electroshock seizure pattern and to prevent Metrazol convulsions. In addition, the effect of chronic administration of these agents on the ED50 for trimethadione in the Metrazol seizure threshold test was determined. The data indicate that these drugs do not modify seizure patterns elicited by electroshock or Metrazol.
