Summary
Adipose tissue transmembrane or resting electrical potential (REP) is not altered by gelatin, serum albumin, or insulin antibody. Elevation of adipose tissue REP by insulin is blocked by insulin antibody. Epinephrine and norepinephrine significantly increase adipose tissue REP.
