Abstract
Summary
By tissue culture method and with the use of phase contrast microscope, detailed morphology of cellular damage by soluble BSA-rabbit anti-BSA complexes was studied. Although the changes resembled those in the antigen-antibody reaction, they were characterized by early cellular excitation accompanied by increased pinocytosis. Injurious effects of the complexes seemed associated with the complement fixability of the complexes.
