Abstract
Summary
Intravenous injection of HC-3 resulted in depression of potentials in the cuneate nucleus of the cat following high frequency stimulation of the radial nerve. No depression followed low frequency continuous stimulation. Choline chloride administered after HC-3 and high frequency stimulation had resulted in depression, restored transmission through the nucleus. The results are consistent with the presence of cholinergic synapses in the cuneate nucleus.
