Summary
Determinations carried out in dystrophic muscle from the mouse and chicken with hereditary dystrophy, and from the Vit. E-deficient rabbit, revealed a 5- to 10-fold increase in activity of acid deoxyribonu-clease when compared with controls. Non-collagen protein nitrogen content of dystrophic chicken breast muscle was 20% less than that of controls.
