Abstract
Summary
1. A method is described for preparing a cell-free first supernatant fluid from dissociated spleen cells from guinea pigs sensitized to tuberculin with Freund's complete adjuvant. 2. Intraperitoneal injections of this cell-free material confer on normal guinea pigs an ability to react in a delayed fashion to the intracutaneous injection of old tuberculin. This reaction is similar to that which can be transferred passively by the viable cells from which the cell-free supernatant fluid is derived.
