Abstract
Summary
Isolated rat livers were perfused with blood containing equimolar concentrations of PGA, Diopterin, and Teropterin. Both conjugates gave rise to folic and folinic acid activity. Teropterin, a gamma-conjugate, was a more effective precursor for folinic acid than Diopterin, an alpha-conjugate.
