Abstract
Summary
Incorporation of labeled iodobenzene and p-chlorophenylcysteine into the conjugated proteins and “soluble RNA fractions” of rat liver and intestine has been demonstrated. The possibilities for production of hydrocarbon-protein conjugates by either direct reaction with the protein or initial reaction to form an amino acid analogue are recognized.
