Summary
Clone NCTC 1469 tissue culture line of C3H mouse liver, maintained in chicken serum-containing medium, was found to provide sensitive assay systems, based on production of plaques and cytopathic changes, for laboratory adapted and recently isolated strains of mouse hepatitis viruses, as well as for some naturally occurring strains in mouse feces.
