Summary
The use of thin layer chromatography for analyzing phosphatides and their hydrolysis products quantitatively is described and applied to the analysis of serum phosphatides. The results are similar to those obtained with silicic acid impregnated paper chromatography and column techniques, though the time for the analysis is markedly shortened.
