Summary
Inoculation of volunteers with a bovine strain of reovirus type 1 produced infection in adult human volunteers. Following intranasal administration of the agent, virus excretion, serologic response and lack of clinical manifestations were similar to those observed in volunteers experimentally infected with a reovirus type 1 strain of human origin.
