Summary
The uptake of radiophosphorus (32P) into mitochondria phospholipids of the HeLa cell with and without poliomyelitis virus infection has been investigated. The uptake of radiophosphorus by HeLa cells exposed to the poliomyelitis virus was accelerated into all mitochondria phospholipids except the sphingomyelin fraction.
