Summary
Trimethadione, 100 mg/kg i.v., raised the threshold of the central lateral nucleus of the thalamus of the cat. The drug had no effect on medial dorsal nucleus, cortex or hippocampus. Diphenylhydantoin, 10 mg/kg, decreased duration of response in cortex and hippocampus, but not in thalamus. Chlor-diazepoxide. 10 mg/kg, raised threshold and decreased duration and amplitude of response in central lateral nucleus.
