Summary
The 50% survival time of Cr51 labeled porcine erythrocytes was found to be 28.0 ± 4.0 days when autologous injections of cells were used and 13.8 ± 5.7 days when homologous injections of cells were used. Based on these data, swine erythrocyte survival times may actually be longer than the values previously reported.
