Abstract
Summary
Reaction of various Cohn fractions in vitro with angiotensin II labeled with I-131 has demonstrated that there are quantitative differences in the per cent angiotensin II-I131 degraded by the fractions. There is evidence for a heat labile inhibitor of angiotensin II-I131 degradation with electrophoretic and cold-ethanol characteristics of albumin. The alpha and beta globulin fractions are enriched with the factor or factors which enhance angiotensin II-I131 degradation.
