Abstract
Summary
One particular lot of cod-liver oil increased the incidence of lymphocytoma (lymphomatosis) in chickens exposed to an infective leukosis agent by contact with infected chickens as well as in chickens given the infective agent by intraperitoneal injection. Another lot of cod-liver oil did not have this effect. There was no evidence of influence of cod-liver oil in the diet on the incidence of erythroblastosis, or tumors other than lymphocytoma.
