Abstract
Summary
Experiments on rats indicate that the syndrome of chronic intoxication with dihydrotachysterol (DHT), including mortality, the Mönckeberg-type of arteriosclerosis, the loss of weight, and the loss of skin elasticity, can be prevented by repeated intraperitoneal administration of ferric hydroxide with dextran (Fe-Dex).
