Summary
Lipids extracted from tubercle bacilli and purified by Anderson's classic procedure, Choucroun's Pmko, and methanol extracts of the bacilli were tested for immunogenicity in mice. Pmko and Anderson's Wax B were the only fractions found capable of eliciting statistically significant immunity against challenge tuberculosis.
