Abstract
Summary
SK-induced lysinemethylesterase activity of human euglobulin has been determined in 70 subjects. Two components of this activity have been denned, one inhibited by SBTI and resistant to precipitation at pH 2 in 2 M NaCl, and the other affected in an opposite manner by these procedures. A wide range of ratios between them and their different heat lability has been demonstrated, suggesting that they result from the interaction between SK and more than one substance.
