Summary
A technic for microscopic microbiological assay was elaborated in which droplets of total incubation mixture down to 0.010 μl volume were employed under oil. Measurement of bacterial growth by light scatter was used. The technic was applied to determination of biotin to 1015g with approximately the same percent accuracy and precision as the macrotechnic with ml-volumes.
