Abstract
Summary
Two types of nonspecific agglutinins for Brucella were distinguished through kinetic studies of their inactivation by heat. Rates of inactivation of specific and nonspecific agglutinins differ to an extent that can be accounted for only by a difference in molecular species. Heat inactivation of nonspecific and specific agglutinins for Brucella is a first order reaction.
