Summary and conclusions
Dilantin decreased significantly the dermal concentration of neutral glycerides, total lipids and phospholipids in rats. This loss of neutral glycerides from dermal tissue was associated with a decrease in the percentage of di-glycerides found in the neutral glyceride fraction of the skin.
