Summary
The urinary mucopolysaccharide excretion of a family with the sex-linked form of gargoylism has been quantitatively studied, using several methods. The results indicate that neither carriers nor unaffected siblings excrete significantly higher than normal quantities of total acid mucopolysaccharides.
