Summary
Sialic acid is present in the epiphyseal plate of normal animals and is slightly reduced in the epiphyseal plates of AAN-treated rabbits. No qualitative differences were found in the sialic acid of the epiphyseal plates of normal and AAN-treated rabbits tested.
