Summary
A heat-stable, non-dialyzable inhibitor of β-glucuronidase is present in rabbit urine. It is not associated with the mucoprotein fraction of urine. Kinetic studies indicate the substance(s) functions as a non-competitive inhibitor, which combines reversibly with the enzyme.
