Abstract
Summary
SLE patients do not possess higher levels of blood group isoagglutinins, Proteus OX-2 agglutinins or antistreptolysin O than other patients or normal individuals. The immunological hyperreactivity of these patients may be restricted, therefore, to circulating autoantibodies and possibly to the delayed or cellular hypersensitivity reaction.
