Summary
Multiplication of measles virus has been demonstrated in suspensions of human and simian blood leucocytes. Under the experimental conditions employed the virus failed to multiply in canine, rabbit, guinea pig, mouse and chicken blood leucocytes. Evidence is presented which indicates that multiplication takes place in mononuclear cells.
