Abstract
Summary
A single injection of colchicine markedly inhibited ability of rats to mobilize neutrophils. The greatest inhibition was seen when animals were challenged immediately following colchicine injection. A secondary inability to mobilize neutrophils appeared at 48 hours and was still present at 72 hours following colchicine treatment. The significance of these phenomena is considered.
