Summary
Administration of prednisolone to rats subjected to Grollman's method for inducing renal hypertension lowered immediate mortality rate. It was deduced that the steroid was effective in combating intra-renal pressure suspected to be a frequent cause of death, resulting in a higher yield of hypertensive rats.
