Summary
Tissues of Corcyra cephalonica and serum of albino rats fed a diet containing gammexane accumulated more free cholesterol with concomitant decrease in ester fraction. Inositol almost completely counteracted the effect of gammexane. Inositol thus appears to have great influence on esterification of cholesterol.
