Summary
In mice and cats, dried Crotalus venoms stored in closed containers at 42° F to 82° F in the dark for 26 to 27 years retained most of their lethality, their ability to depress neuromuscular junction, and the properties responsible for the deleterious changes in the arterial, venous and cisternal pressures, respiration, electrocardiogram, and electroencephalogram.
