Abstract
Summary
Glucuronides of morphine, nalorphine. l-dromoran and codeine are formed by an enzyme in liver microsomes that can transfer glucuronic acid from UDP-glucuronic acid to the narcotic drug. Morphine, nalorphine. l-dromoran and codeine are excreted as glucuronic acid conjugates in guinea pigs.
