Summary
Human gastric juice from subjects free of gastrointestinal pathology was collected, pooled, dialyzed and lyophilized. The material thus obtained consistently inhibited gastric secretion of pylorus ligated rats when administered intravenously in amounts of 2 or 6 mg at time of pyloric ligation.
