Abstract
Summary
Hydrocortisone 4-C14 was injected into rats, guinea pigs, and rabbits, and distribution of C14, 30 minutes after injection was studied. Activity was widely distributed and the results were variable; but in most experiments, activity (cts/min/mg tissue) was higher in the posterior pituitary gland than in any other tissue. Activity in the anterior pituitary, liver, and kidney was higher than that in muscle and brain.
