Summary
When appropriate amounts of the lathyrogenic agent, AAN, are administered together with papain or the anti-coagulants, heparin or polyglucose sulfate, widespread spontaneous subperiosteal hemorrhages are seen. These do not occur when these materials are administered by themselves. The possible underlying mechanisms of this change are discussed.
