Summary
1. Prolonged and sustained elevated phenylalanine plasma values have been observed in monkeys fed 3 g of L-phenylalanine 3 times daily. 2. Phenylpyruvic acid was excreted in the urine of these animals. 3. The biochemical findings are comparable to those found in phenylketonuria.
