Abstract
Summary
Investigation of the force-velocity relationship of muscles actively shortened by tetanus toxin injection reveals that these preparations exhibit a significant decline in the a constant of Hill's characteristic equation. An attempt has been made to interpret the above change in terms of other reported mechanical and chemical changes.
