Summary
After surgical thyroparathy-roidectomy, with or without additional treatment with I131, the pancreatic weight and amylolytic activity/unit weight and /total weight of the pancreas were reduced significantly, the fall in concentration of enzyme being greater with the latter experimental procedure.
