This essay attempts to typologize various strands of what has come to be known as “the men's movement.” The author challenges the entire range of types to really take seriously the fundamental ethical imperative of feminist/womanist theories; namely, “How do society and culture re-construct an understanding of ‘man’ or ‘male’ excluding patriarchal dominance?” Offering one way, he sketches what an “Xodus” from patriarchy might look like for males.
