Abstract
In studying the relationship between airports and surrounding communities, analysts have developed noise depreciation indices to describe the changes in housing prices associated with changes in noise levels. This analysis uses the indices to estimate and assess the noise-damage costs under different growth scenarios at one airport. Sensitivity analyses are also used to identify how key inputs affect these noise-damage costs. Other socioeconomic indicators are also analyzed to set the context for these noise-damage costs.
