The Cosmetic Ingredient Review Expert Panel cannot conclude that Benzylparaben is safe for use in cosmetic products until such time that the appropriate safety data have been obtained and evaluated. The data that were available are documented in the report as well as the types of data that are required before a safety evaluation may be undertaken.
