Abstract
The Judicial Evaluation Model or the Adversary Model of Evaluation has been used in a number of educational settings. This article examines the use by a local education agency of a modified judiciary model: the Advocacy-Judiciary Model. The model was used to investigate programs specifically directed toward the academic needs of the gifted and talented student population. This article presents the development of the model as well as the results of using the model in a local school setting.
