Abstract
The traditional statistical approach to identifying regions of significance in aptitude-by-treatment-interaction studies is examined. An alternative approach is provided which integrates several heretofore unrelated statistical techniques, including testing for the parallelism of two or more regression lines, testing for their identity, and Scheffé’s theorem.
