Abstract

Working closely with our sister journals, Allergy and Asthma Proceedings and the American Journal of Rhinology and Allergy, we have come to realize that many quality papers that are worthy of publication may have to be rejected from traditional print journals because of space and economic considerations. One advantage of Allergy & Rhinology is that we are less affected by these restrictions given our low cost of online-only distribution. It is our hope that this new opportunity will encourage a wide range of submissions, including work from residents and fellows who have some research to report or interesting cases that they would like to share with us (with appropriate literature review and discussion). In this inaugural issue, we are fortunate to have original research papers from respected international investigators, several case reports, an environmental survey of potential allergens, and more. Please enjoy, and I would be glad to hear any feedback or suggestions at
