The authors present their successful experience with two surgical techniques, allowing the closure of small to medium-sized and large nasal septal perforations (NSP). A one-stage procedure is described for NSP up to 4 cm diameter, and a three-stage procedure for larger perforations in, respectively, 38 and 16 patients. The closure rate is 89.5% in the one-stage procedure and 81.6% in the three-stage operation. No facial incisions are required.
