Upper Lid Crease Approach to the Medial Orbit and Ethmoid

Abstract

A new approach to the ethmoid sinus through the upper lid crease affords superior cosmesis over other techniques when an external approach is indicated. In a series of six patients, only one had to be converted to a Lynch incision because of a lack of sufficient exposure. No serious complications occurred.
